The pre-entry English Test has been designed by International House Sydney to give students a guide to which course level would be most suitable for them.
Please remember that this is a guide only. Students learn at different rates and some may therefore progress more rapidly than others. Achieving a recommended entry score does not guarantee success in the course. Much still depends on the students diligence.
The test comprises two sections: a multi-choice component and a written task. A maximum of 50 minutes should be allowed to complete the test.

We hope that you find the test useful for your counseling and enrolment procedures. To receive the
results of the written test, simply fax the answer sheet to us (+61 2 9976 2433), and we will mark it
and return it with the appropriate comments.
